The other side of that is that she also has a personal relationship with the patients which ultimately leads to vastly improved care. When you get to know someone as a friend it's harder to do the things i see happen every day. Ignored patients, unmet needs, the list of bad things to happen to people in these facilities with high turnover is vast, this facility however shines as a beacon of standards that need to be kept when caring for our elderly.
The Director of Nursing is amazing. In an industry with an average turnover rate of 18 months, this facility shines with a 12 year veteran at the helm. This makes her more aware of how things are run, what protocols are in place, and what can and cannot be done.
My GrandMother is in this facility this is why I'm writing the review.
Its the only place I would send my loved ones when that time comes.
Being from a larger city and actually working with Nursing Homes and Hospitals to reduce C. diff as a job. I have a pretty good grasp on what is good and what is not. I have to say that this is one of the most brilliantly run facilities i have ever seen.
